The OLIVE HYDE Gallery Exhibition

Thanks to Kent Mosley's initiative and Stick-To-Itivnenss, we had the opportunity to exhibit club members' pieces - just club member pieces. How often does a turning club get the opportunity to have a whole gallery for exhiting their turnings? Thank you Kent. And special thanks to Jim Gott for bringing his portable photo studio to the club and using his expertise in photography to take very nice quality digital photos of pieces going into the exhibit. For many, they now have some really good quality photos of their turnings - for the first time!

Kent was kind enough to put together the following "thumbnails" of the pieces going in the exhibit that gives a pretty good idea of the range of types of turning members do - and the quality of the finished pieces as well. Now we wait for the Wine & Brie Opening!

Details:

Saturday, July 12th, 2009 - deliver pieces for the exhibit between noon and 2pm. Other times can be arranged by appointment.

Friday, July 24th, 2009 - exhbit opens with a reception from 7 to 9 pm

Saturday, August 22nd, 2009 - exhibit closes at 5 pm

Sunday, August 23rd, 2009 - pieces must be picked up between 10 am and noon
