Turning is a dynamic process. Ironically, the finished piece is almost always static. I stumbled on Low Primary Stability-High Secondary Stability (wobbles & tilts but is self righting) by accident. Was exploring a "ball and socket /swivel joint" so a counter balanced pendulum finial was perfect. Box wobbles, finial remains vertical. Fun piece to play with.
