I'm a "right brain" AND "left brain" person. I was trained in engineering but have been drawing and sculpting almost as far back as I can remember. Relatively new to the lathe, I'm still trying all kinds of turning. So far, turned lidded boxes are,by far, my favorite thing to make. But I'm exploring ways to add actual movement to pieces and playing with multi-axis turning. Even as a kid I had trouble Staying Within The Lines.
